In this time in our lives when everything is changing, it is nice to find people still come together to help those less fortunate than themselves.

The Miracle League of Las Vegas & Opportunity Village joined hands in building a new baseball field for disabled children.  The ground breaking was recently.

The field is going to be covered in recycled rubber, this makes it easier for the children, it will also be helpful for the environment, the rubber will not be going in a landfill.

This will give these children a chance to be just like anyone.  The satisfaction the volunteers will receive, will give them immense pleasure for a lifetime.

The field is near the First Christian church on Rancho.  If all goes well, the children will be playing on this field in October 2009.
