On December 2nd, Fremont Street Experience will be celebrating their annual Downtown Hoedown. This is a kickoff party for the National Finals Rodeo. Las Vegas Great Santa Run This will be the 5th Annual Las Vegas Great Santa Run! Las Vegas is teaming up with Golden Gaming Inc, to get our world record title back and also to put Opportunity Village back on the map. We have held the world's record of largest Santa Gathering. This event is one of the many around the world competing for this title. The help from people around the United States can help us set a record for 2009. The Grand Marshall for this year's event will be NASCAR Legend Kurt Busch. Kurt Busch foundation is a great sponsor of the Las Vegas Great Santa Run. Kurt himself will be joining the esteemed group of celebrities, including Mayor Oscar Goodman, Siegfried & Roy and many others. How about Christmas Caroling on Horseback? Sagebrush Ranch has Christmas Caroling on horseback. It's been doing this event for the passed 15 years. It's like restoring some good ol' fashion Christmas spirit. It's a wonderful, fun event for all. All the horses and wagons are decked out in tinsel and lights. They have a horse drawn wagon ride and the entire family from babies to great-grand parents and also people with disabilities can go with no problem. Santa will be there to help. The people, who choose to horseback ride, will follow Santa and enjoy the music with a crisp blue sky full of glittering stars. Sometimes you might even see a full moon. After your 45 minute ride, you can enjoy homemade chili, hot cider and even roast marshmallows. They also have a nativity scene that accent around the eating area. You will have the opportunity to work with an official trainer. As a day trainer, you'll be able to experience the daily activities with the dolphins. You will also be able to play, train and feed them. You need to make sure you have plenty of rest the night before. There's alot to do. The tour begins at there facility and a short orientation on how you can best enjoy your day. During the orientation, you will be offered a fruit and pastry breakfast. After that, they will fit you into a wet suit and off you go to meet the dolphins. Around noon you will take a break and eat a three course lunch and back you go to enjoy your day of training. After your day of training is over, you will receive a complimentary 8"x 10" photo, a certificate of completion, CD of you training the dolphins, and lastly a trainer for the day shirt. There are a series of pipes, conveyor belts and tanks that hold up to 35,000 gallons of chocolate. We can experience the chocolate being made. Have you ever been on a Haunted Tour? Well I've got one for you. The tour begins in the lobby of the Royal Resorts Hotel. Your tour guide will explain features "the best ghost stories in town". This is not a hokey Halloween type tour. The tour has ghosts and haunted sites that have been researched in various studies on paranormal activity. The tour takes you to 16 to 21 haunted locations. Some of the places are visited by the ghosts of Bugsy Siegel, Liberace and others have been spotted. The tour guide will encourage tourist to take pictures hoping you can catch an orb (ghostly energy that makes its way through cameras). Besides seeing the haunted sights you will experience a seance. The seance is conducted by a medium and maybe you'll be witness to moving objects. If you are lucky, you might make actual contact with a spirit.
