Venom in Vegas - Donald Shultz at O'Sheas Casino

Venom in Vegas If you're afraid of snakes, you will want to stay away from the Las Vegas Strip for the next ten days. Beginning on Sunday, a 16 by 20 foot glass enclosure was set up by O'Sheas Casino. Animal Planet host Donald Shultz will be living in the glass enclosure with up to 100 snakes. Handlers will delivery 5 snakes a day until they reach that 100th snake. Many of the snakes are deadly. During the ten days, Donald Shultz will be confined with the snakes and will be extracting venom. Venom will than be shipped all around the world for research. Shultz is putting his life on the line so that he can emphasize that deaths from snake bites are preventable with the right anti-venom. Cameras are being placed inside the structure. Also there is a team of doctors outside to answer any of Shultz questions or medical concerns. Crowds have been jamming the area where O'Sheas Casino is, trying to take a glimpse of the Animal Planet host. Animal Planet is promoting this event. The Sky Jump - Stratosphere Hotel and Casino

Are you a thrill seeker? Opening April 2010, The Stratosphere Hotel and Casino will have a new thrill ride. This ride will be called "The Sky jump". The entire experience will take about 30 minutes per rider. The Sky jump will expect to accommodate six to ten jumpers. The attraction will be open from 10 am to 1 am Sunday-Thursday and until 2 am on Friday and Saturday. The ride will cost $100 per jump. The experience is described as a "controlled freefall". It's similar to skydiving and base jumping, riders will hit speeds over 40mph. Of course there will be wires so that participants can remain on course and enjoy their 108-story fall. The decent will slowly become a safe controlled landing. There are some safety concerns; riders will have a safety lesson before they get in a custom jump suit. After that, participants will be connected to a "descender machine". This ride will not only be North American's only sky jump, but will also be the highest sky jump in the world. When your Christmas tree is chipped into mulch, the cut trees become organic material that is used in landscaping and also help conserve soil moisture.
