Rock n Roll with the Las Vegas Marathon
The Las Vegas Marathon is an old standby in Las Vegas, there is an extreme makeover being done to the race, since it is under new management.
The new plans for the race are that the racers will be staying on the strip. This will be a real experience for the runners who have come from out of town; they may never have another chance to run up the Strip.
There will be music by local and regional bands, along the way. At each water station there will be a competition.
They expect to have about 20,000 runners. This will provide a nice income for the city, because all these runners will bring family and friends. With this participation the exepected revenue will be 40 million for the community and an added 1 million in tax revenue.
The race will be held December 6, 2009. Hurry up and sign of this wonderful race.
